“The Petrified Wood Lotus” a handmade Mandala Wall Art wall hanging, is a blend of clay-colored 9kinda pinkish-red) hemp yarn, a total of 112 wood beads, 1 polished petrified wood, copper wire, macramé straps, and a tree branch.
Petrified Wood is not exactly a stone but the organic wood substance has been replaced with silicon dioxide which makes it a member of the Quartz family.
This is another piece that took a different turn as I was creating it, but what I love about the creative process is that if I’m open to the new Inspiration as I go along, sometimes I find myself down quite a different road than the one I started out on. So while the elements remained the same, the expression is way different than what I thought I was making initially!
Yet though the Vision changed, the Intent to Create a very balancing and stabilizing energetic piece of Wall Art remained.
Another surprise was the hint of a lotus flower on the copper inside above the Petrified Wood, can you see it?
